  • January is a good month to test your Gull identification skills - check dairies for mixed flocks that include Mew, California, Glaucous-winged Gulls and others

Watch list:
  • Look for Bald Eagles on tidal flats at Tillamook and Netarts Bays. Sub-adults abound in late February, and adults can be seen in and around nesting territories.
