- Check Barview Jetty, Bay City Oyster Company, Oceanside and other spots for Black Turnstone with the occasional Ruddy Turnstone, Surfbird, Wandering Tattler and Yellowlegs
- Watch the flocks of Semipalmated and Black-bellied Plover for Snowy and Golden Plover
- Bayocean Spit is a hotspot for shorebirds from now through early October
