Hawks Arrive

There have been some very interesting Hawks in Tillamook County in the last week or two. Among the notable birds are a Dark Harlan's Red-tail and a Dark morph Rough-legged Hawk (see below). Even more notable is the report of a Swainson's Hawk seen by at least two observers and photographed by Cliff Cordy. 
Of interest to many may be the Raptor Project directed by Jeff Fleischer and sponsored by the East Cascades Audubon Society. There are two Tillamook routes as part of this project, East and West.
